Sound familiar?

You already hold space. Just without a container.

  • People open up to you in their hardest moments — and you're not sure what to do when it gets intense.
  • You've felt what breath and cacao can do. You'd never want to guide it without knowing it's safe.
  • Videos and a weekend workshop never taught you what to do when someone panics, shakes or goes blank.
  • You don't have the structure, the language or the certificate to offer it as your work.

It doesn't have to stay that way.

Four days is enough to learn to hold it — properly.

Your guide

Andreas

“I have been walking with ceremonial cacao since 2017. My journey took me deep into Panama to learn alongside the Ngäbe people. The wisdom they shared changed my path completely.

Since then, I've had the honor of guiding over 1,000 people through this work — and I'm deeply excited to share it with you.”

Outside the training: Andreas's Cacao King cacao shop in Sri Thanu, Koh Phangan, is rated 5.0 on Google from 217 reviews.

A note on lineage: what Andreas teaches is his own practice — shaped by his time with the Ngäbe, one of Panama's seven Indigenous peoples, and by the teachers since — and never presented as someone else's ceremony.

Honest fit

Is this for you?

It is, if

  • You've sat in ceremony and felt something shift
  • You teach yoga, coach or do bodywork and want to add breathwork and cacao
  • You're drawn to hold space for others — even without formal experience
  • You want practice and feedback, not just theory

It isn't, if

  • You want a certificate without actually practicing
  • You're looking for a training in other plant medicines
  • You want to work as a therapist — this isn't therapy training
  • You have one of the contraindications below — talk to us first

Held with care

Breathwork is powerful. We treat it that way.

  • Screening comes first — for you before the training, and for everyone you'll ever guide.
  • Cacao has a ceiling — a firm upper limit treated as a safety line, not a target.
  • Hard moments have protocols — rehearsed before you ever meet one for real.
  • Touch only with consent — asked in writing, revocable at any moment.
  • Clear scope — breathwork and cacao ceremony; not other plant medicines, not therapy.

“You are responsible for the safety of the space, not for the outcome of the experience.”

Who shouldn't do intensive breathwork

  • Heart conditions or uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • Pregnancy
  • Epilepsy or a history of seizures
  • MAOIs, certain SSRIs or other psychiatric medication
  • Recent surgery, especially abdominal
  • Active psychosis or acute mental-health crisis

Questions

Before you apply

Do I need experience with breathwork or cacao?

No formal prerequisites. Some people arrive as yoga teachers or coaches, some after a single ceremony that changed something. Everything is taught from the foundation up.

Is it safe if I've never done intensive breathwork?

Yes. Techniques build from the gentlest upward, everyone is screened before practice, and you learn the stop, modify and refer protocols before you ever guide anyone alone.

What does the certificate allow me to do?

Facilitate cacao and breathwork ceremonies independently, within the scope of practice taught in the training. It doesn't make you a therapist or a medical practitioner, and it doesn't cover other plant medicines.

Where exactly is it, and how do I get there?

A quiet outdoor shala on Koh Phangan — the same place all four days. The exact location is shared once your place is confirmed. Koh Phangan is reached by ferry from Koh Samui or Surat Thani.

What if I have to miss part of a day?

Each day builds on the one before, so full attendance matters. If something is still missing at the end, you get a clear path to complete it.

What should I bring?

A journal, water, and comfortable clothes you can lie down in. On day four — your own cacao, prepared with the guidelines from the manual, and your playlist.
